My hand tools have been all over the place for a while and I had some reclaimed plywood and other parts kind of in the way so I thought I would put it all together in the shape of a toolbox or tool chest.
I started by measuring and adjusting the drawer sliders so that they were all the same length. Then based on that and the plywood I had I made a quick CAD model to define the look and dimensions and also to make sure I had enough wood.
Then I cut all the pieces to size and glue them together with rabbets and dadoes. It's really nice to work with good quality plywood :)
Then I fitted the drawer slides and this was the trickiest part. They didn't come out perfect but was good enough for my first try.
I finished by doing some drawer faces out of reclaimed flooring and put down stickers from all the makers I met at Makers Central back in May.
Now I'm one step closer to having a somewhat tidier workshop :)

This incredibly safe and solid wing is designed for all levels of student training from first flights to soaring, top landing, thermalling and qualification. Based on what we have learned during fifteen years of basic and student wing R&D. The Atom 3 may be one of the safest and simplest-to-use wings that we have ever flown, but it is complex in its simplicity. A serious amount of design research and testing has been invested into this new wing and after what has been an extensive beta phase of testing, we are very happy with the results. The Atom 3 is sure to become a favourite with instructors and students alike - we believe there is no better wing to learn with.

Bough this old hand plane for 5£ and it was in a bit of a sorry state so spent a couple of hours bringing it back to workable/usable condition.
The wooden parts were easy to fix but the metal work took longer. I always get surprised how much better things get just by cleaning them.
I used Paul Sellers method and video to restoring this hand plane.

I had the problem of always making a mess in the kitchen when cutting bread slices.
So I decided to make this bespoke bread cutting board. With some extra features like a sliding closing lid and also the top of the board is a cutting board itself so it can be used as a cutting board for other things like cheese and other fillings :)
Made 100% from reclaimed wood.

My cousin is a music producer and we've been talking about building our own set of speakers for a while now. He understands the sound side and I like the building side.
It was a lot of work because of all the setup and figuring out but it was a great thing to try. I would change a few things if I did it again and once I was happy with the design I would probably build a few sets at once to make it more time efficient.
