With the SECTOR, we are introducing a new XC wing to the sports class. We have transferred the successful MENTOR concept to the EN/LTF C class and have coupled this with sports class handling.
The result: in comparison to other gliders in its class, a low aspect ratio (5.92), a very high degree of actually usable performance combined with precise handling and short brake travel. A wing to munch the XC miles.

Alex Mateos describes his design: The Ozone slalom steering system is a safe way to control direction whilst accelerating along the course. The AM steering system will require a certain amount of time to learn the correct movements but, once mastered, allows the pilot full directional control whilst accelerated without the risk of accidentally activating the brakes. The slalom steering system is not only for competition slalom flying. It can be used by any pilot who flies reflex wings at top speed – this system gives the pilot more consistent control with faster access to brake inputs while using the tip steering line with an improved safety margin. The new Ozone Viper 4 is delivered with special pulleys and additional tip steering lines to install this slalom steering system. The 9th edition of the Red Bull X-Alps is once again the world's toughest adventure race.
Starting in Salzburg, the course will cross the borders of 6 countries via 13 Turnpoints before arriving at the finish line in Monaco.
This year our pilots will be flying the new Zeolite in the race. Legendary adventurer and Ozone team pilot, Antoine Girard, says:
