Really enjoyed this one and glad to be back on the ParaVlogs! After a first flight where the glide over the lake didn't connect with thermals on the other side I was close to calling it a day but managed to get a quick lift back up and fly again.
It wasn't the longest or furthest flight but it was one of the nicest I've had lately and the views were just stunning. Low cloudbase and punchy thermals with a hint of overdevelopment.
Can't wait to go back :)

Florida doesn't have many hills, so if you want to fly a paraglider a motor comes in very handy!
We visited on the of the best schools in the country to see first hand what PPG is all about and we were amazed.
The people at Aviator PPG are amazing and it rubs off on their students and everyone that interacts with them.

Gemma and me have taken on the project of restoring a 1940's highchair (why isn't it called a baby chair?) for a friend.
It was very beaten up but had a great look and design to it so we thought it would be nice to try to bring it back.
I was only through the days and days of work that we poured into it that we realized what we really got ourselves into.
It involved stripping all the paint and going back to bare metal on most of the parts. then disassembling it as much as possible to get at all the hard to reach places. Then we thought that the upholstery also needed a lot of attention so we started from scratch and created our own cushions.
In in end it went together rather well and I'm really please with the result but now really need a smaller project for the next one!

My uncle Carlos carves masks out of solid wood so around Xmas I challenged him to do Rick and Morty masks.
I was amazed at the result! I think they come out pretty well and when I look at them it always makes me giggle.

Rick and Morty is an awesome Adult Swim Cartoon that is not on it's 3rd season. In my oppinion one of the most creative and fun to watch shows of recent years, can't way for season 4!

In my first workshop video I built a cheap table saw. I bought a second hand radial saw and jig saw together for £7.5GBP which works out around 5$ for each!
All the wood was reclaimed wood from scrap or people that have given me wood that was going to be thrown away. A lot of this wood also had nails and screws in it to I took them off and kept them, and all the screws used on this project were reclaimed too.
The table saw is a simple design and only depth adjustable. next I'll build a fence so that it can be used safely.

Đường lên đồi Mâm Xôi khá quanh co. Sỏi đá. Dốc đứng. Còn khuyến mãi thêm những khúc lầy lội. Chưa kể phần lớn là sát bên vực sâu thẳm. Sợ khiếp. Nói thật là có lúc tôi …ân hận và muốn xuống xe. Nhưng, trời ơi nhìn kìa! Có 3 xe đối diện với bánh xe không hề quấn dây xích. Cưỡi 3 con ngựa sắt đó chính lại là những anh Tây đẹp trai mà …lỳ!
Mâm Xôi đã xuất hiện! Đẹp thật! Những quả đồi mọc lên trong thung lũng. Những bậc thang ruộng xung quanh Mâm Xôi uốn lượn mềm mại nối với nhau. Kiệt tác của tạo hóa hay con người? Theo tôi thì tạo hóa hơi khắc nghiệt. Ban tặng cho Mù Cang Chải toàn núi và núi. Thế mà người H’Mong chỉ với sức người và đôi tay trần đã tạo nên kiệt tác thế này!
Pà kon nơi đây cũng biết phục vụ du khách bằng cách trồng thêm hoa Tam Giác Mạch. PPP xin tạm gọi là Mâm Hoa. Các bạn hãy bước xuống đây chụp vài tấm hình cùng Mâm Xôi và Mâm Hoa nhé! Có thu phí dịch vụ Nhưng đâu đáng gì với công sức của người dân H’Mong!
Nhìn cận cảnh những bậc thang lúa. Nhìn cảnh bà con thu hoạch mà chạnh lòng buồn các bạn ạ. Với địa hình ruộng bậc thang thế này thì không thể cơ giới hóa thay sức người được. Tất tần tật được vận chuyển bằng sức người. Kể cả thùng đập lúa cũng được ...đeo trên lưng của người phụ nữ được. Hình ảnh đó đã trả lời thắc mắc sao không dùng máy tuốt lúa mà cứ đập bằng tay như vậy! Thương người H'Mong quá. Thương người dân vùng ruộng bậc thang quá. Vậy mà xưa nay tôi cứ mơ tưởng về vẻ đẹp mê hồn của thửa ruộng. Thấy mình vô tâm ghia!
