The NOVA MENTOR 5 LIGHT is is a lightweight EN/LTF-B paraglider with an amazingly small pack size and high performance in its class. Four sizes cover a weight range of 55 to 100 kg with a canopy weight of 3.35 to 4.05 kg. With the BANTAM, we are introducing our first pure-bred miniwing. It is perfect for para-mountaineers who prefer a flight with plenty of speed to a descent on foot. The wing is super-light with a tiny packing volume, easy to launch, has an astounding glide performance and is much safer to land than a single-surface wing.
Its excellent performance was demonstrated at the Dolomitenmann 2019, when Chrigel Maurer and his team won the overall ranking. NOVA offers the BANTAM in sizes 10, 12 and 14. At only 1.65 kg (size 12), this makes the BANTAM the lightest certified non-single-surface wing on the market (as of October 2019).

Mit dem BANTAM stellen wir unseren ersten reinrassigen Mini-Wing vor. Er wendet sich vor allem an Para-Alpinisten, die einen Flug mit reichlich Speed dem Abstieg zu Fuß vorziehen. Der Schirm ist superleicht und kompakt zu packen, einfach zu starten, bietet eine erstaunliche Gleitleistung und ist viel sicherer zu landen als ein Single Skin.
Seine gute Performance zeigte er auch beim Dolomitenmann 2019, als Chrigel Maurer und dessen Team die Gesamtwertung gewannen. Gibt es in den BANTAM in den Größen 10, 12 und 14 qm (12 und 14 sind mit EN D zertifiziert). Mit 1,65 Kilo ist der BANTAM 12 der derzeit leichteste zugelassene Non-Single Skin-Schirm (Stand: 10/2019).

Its excellent glide was demonstrated at the Dolomitenmann 2019, when Chrigel Maurer and his team won the overall rankings. If you like it less dynamic or have a higher take off weight, the BANTAM size 14 is the ideal partner for para-mountaineering adventures.
Nur 1,65 Kilo (bei Größe 12) wiegt das handliche Kraftpaket, welches in einen gewöhnlichen Wanderrucksack passt und dessen Spaßpotential enorm groß ist. Seine exzellente Gleitleistung zeigte er beim Dolomitenmann 2019, als Chrigel Maurer und dessen Team die Gesamtwertung gewannen. Wer es weniger dynamisch mag, bzw. mehr Startgewicht mitbringt, findet im BANTAM Größe 14 den idealen Partner für para-alpine Abenteuer.
