After-Work-Hike & Fly of the NOVA Team
Philipp Medicus (Head of R&D), Luis Depping (Product Manager Harnesses) and Paul Nagl (Service Manager and flying with the helmet camera) fly with their BANTAMs from the Bettelwurf after work. The Bettelwurf is a mountain in the Karwendel range, not far from the NOVA headquarters in Terfens and outside the core zone of the nature reserve. Attention: clearance from the tower of Innsbruck Airport is mandatory before take-off.

Philipp Medicus (Entwicklungsleiter), Luis Depping (Product Manager Gurtzeuge) und Paul Nagl (Service-Leiter und mit der Helmkamera unterwegs) fliegen mit ihren BANTAMs nach der Arbeit vom Bettelwurf. Der Bettelwurf ist ein Berg im Karwendel, nicht weit entfernt vom NOVA Headquarter in Terfens und außerhalb der Kernzone des Naturparks. Achtung: vor dem Start unbedingt Freigabe vom Tower des Flughafens Innsbruck erforderlich.

The TWISTED JOKER is another one of Pal Takats’ inventions. The Joker is a Tumbling rotation performed only once and stopped during the Shoot (called Booster), which you then connect into a Helicopter. For a long time, the Joker was the trick to do in competition. Here it is performed twisted, which means twisted during the tumbling and untwisted when starting the Helico rotation.
The TWISTED JOKER REVERSE is the same process like the Joker with a Booster entry, but then the connected Helico is turning to the opposite direction and therefore it's a reverse trick. Here it is performed twisted, which means twisted during the tumbling and untwisted when starting the Helico rotation.

„Theos Trick der Woche“ #4: TWISTED JOKER und TWISTED JOKER REVERSE
Der TWISTED JOKER ist eine weitere Erfindung von Pal Takats. Der Joker besteht aus einem Tumbling, das aber nur einmal ausgeführt und während des Vorschießens gestoppt wird („BOOSTER“ genannt), welches du dann in einen HELI überleitest. Lange Zeit war der Joker der Trick, den man im Wettbewerb zeigen musste. Hier wird er ge-twisted ausgeführt, d.h. twisted beim Tumbling und und untwisted, wenn die Heli-Rotation beginnt.
Der TWISTED JOKER REVERSE beginnt gleich wie der Twisted Joker mit einem Booster-Einstieg, aber dann dreht sich der angeschlossene Heli in die entgegengesetzte Richtung. Es gehört daher zu den Twisted Tricks. Hier wird er verdreht (getwisted) ausgeführt, d.h. twisted beim Tumbling und untwisted, wenn die Heli-Rotation beginnt.
