It was quite a strong wind day at Gralha for full sized wings but we still managed to fly a fair bit and do bottom to tops.
Groundhandling at the beach and then slowly climbing the hill and taking off as soon as the wind is strong enough to support out weight.
Then from there you can scratch all the way to the top and beyond! Pretty cool stuff!

I've had a super cheap very old wing for groundhandling since I started flying a few years ago. For me it was both a good and bad idea at the time, knowing what I know now.
So we decided to try it out with Gemma. The wing was really difficult to groundhandle but she made it look easy(ish). We ended up concluding that if you are a die-hard groundhandler it might be worth it but if you are just an occasional pilot you're probably better off groundhandling the wing you will be flying.
