ROADRUNNER - ground handling wing from Ozone

The Roadrunner is an easy to use and highly forgiving 14m2 paraglider designed solely for ground-handling practice. Whether you are training for high wind or light-wind launches, the Roadrunner allows a fun and easy progression. In strong winds the wing does not over-shoot, nor does it generate too much lift. In light winds, it rises gently with minimal effort and without hanging back. The Roadrunner is a great tool for schools to increase training efficiency as well as fun wing to play with, for any pilot who would like to get more ground handling practice. Kids love it too! Introduce younger and lighter pilots to the joys of kiting!

👉 Toàn cảnh Hành trình Chinh phục THIÊN ĐƯỜNG CỎ LAU ĐỒI BÙ - Khám phá thú chơi DÙ LƯỢN
Núi Đồi Bù cách trung tâm thành phố Hà Nội chừng 40 km. Để tới được đây, từ Hà Nội bạn đi theo QL6 tới Xuân Mai rồi rẽ trái đi theo đường mòn Hồ Chí Minh, sau đó đi qua trường Cộng đồng Hà Tây 5 km tới khu vực Chợ Cá thì rẽ phải ở ngã 4 chợ Cá.
Đồi Bù nằm giáp ranh giữa huyện Chương Mỹ, Hà Nội và huyện Lương Sơn tỉnh Hòa Bình. Đây là dãy núi đẹp với sườn thoải có độ dài khoảng 1.5km. Vào khoảng tháng 9 đến tháng 11, núi Đồi Bù thời tiết mát mẻ, đôi khi se lạnh, cỏ lau dọc sườn đổi bung nở, mang lại 1 khung cảnh đẹp mắt hòa quyện cùng không khí trên núi trong lành.
Tới đây bạn sẽ được thả mình vào thiên nhiên trong lành với những vạt lau bạt ngàn. Lau nở tràn sườn núi tạo ra khung cảnh vừa lãng mạn vừa nên thơ chẳng kém gì thiên đường lau ở Bình Liêu. Nằm trên cao độ 655m với nhiều ưu thế, đồi Bù còn là điểm chơi dù lượn ưa thích của các phi công miền Bắc.
Đồi cỏ lau có độ dài khoảng 1,5km. Điểm cất cánh nằm trên cao độ 655m sở hữu địa hình thoai thoải, phong cảnh đẹp là điểm chơi dù lượn ưa thích của các phi công miền Bắc. Vào mùa gió Bắc thì đồi lau trắng là điểm bay lý tưởng, đã có những chuyến bay cao trên 1500m được thực hiện tại đây.
Thời điểm tốt nhất để chụp ảnh tại đây tốt nhất là vào buổi sáng sớm để có ánh nắng đẹp. Từ xa ngọn đồi trông như một bức tranh với những sắc hồng phớt đẹp đẽ. Với phông nền tự nhiên đẹp như tranh vẽ, lãng mạn giữa mênh mông đất trời, đổi lau mỗi năm đều thu hút nhiều bạn trẻ đến tham quan, chụp hình, ghi lại khoảnh khắc.

I changed my brake handles the other day and had to undo and redo the knots on my brakes. I simply undone the knot as it was from the BGD factory taking note of every step. Then to tie it I performed those steps in reverse.

I decided to make this short video for future reference with a big rope so that it's easy to see what's going on.

I've been wanting to make experiments like these for a while.

It's really satisfying to watch similar processes in small scale that also happen in the outside world in a very large scale.

I started with just playing around with different things like coffee. milk and water with different colors. Then I've also tried oil with papprika and that didn't work great.

In the end I built a small spine shaped hill out of a tin and that worked fairly well when submerged in warm-ish water and using a syringe and pipe to deliver cold water with a dye. The injected water flow can be easily distinguished from the surrounding water as it is colder and different color.

In the end it was quite clear that an area of rotor was set up on the lee side of my mountain and the faster the speed of the injected flow the bigger and more violent would be the rotor on the lee side as you would expect.

I've been wanting to design a logo that brings together all the things I like to do.

I've sketched a few different concepts on paper around the idea a flight and making stuff.

Then I drew it in Solidworks with exact measurements so that I can recreate anytime from scratch. from there it was onto Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to make it usable.

I don't consider it finished but hopefully it will come in useful for future videos.
