Stuart Holmes flying Gin Glider's Yak off Ama Dablam, Novemeber 2009.
Here's a short movie of Stuart's climb on Ama Dablam in Nepal and of his flight from the summit using the new GIN GLIDERS YAK 16.5
An ascent of the iconic Nepalese mountain Ama Dablam by Stuart Holmes (ably supported by the very capable Tim Mosedale (www.timmosedale.co.uk)) followed by the first ever descent by Speed Glider. The Yak 16.5 made by Gin Gliders weighs only 2.3kg, that's less than 3 kg total weight including harness. This type of wing made take off relatively easy in difficult gusty conditions giving a descent of just 10 minutes, thereby saving a day and a half of down-climbing.
The GIN Verso is a lightweight reversible airbag harness/rucksack with plate and integrated rescue container that makes no compromises in safety or comfort.

Carrera+
...because technology doesn't stand still
The Carrera+ is an upgrade of the Carrera. The wing retains its class-leading ratio of performance to security and is even more comfortable, smoother and easier to manage in active air. You can fly with greater peace-of-mind, perform better on long XCs and land with an even bigger smile!
A conversion kit is available for Carrera pilots who wish to access these latest developments—you may be surprised!

Light version of the Sprint, featuring the technology used in the Red Bull X-Alps race, the Sprint X-Alps offers the ideal combination of lightness and durability for trekking and cross country flying.
GTO -"Gran Turismo Omologato"- was a term originally used by Ferrari, and later by Pontiac. GTO denotes a race car that has been made street legal. The Boomerang GTO was conceived in this spirit. Gin's aim was to design a wing with a performance level that had never before been reached, but that would still be certified. Like with its predecessor, the Boomerang Sport, no compromises on handling and safety were allowed.

The Rage is designed for advanced acro pilots wishing to perform helicopters, infinity tumblings, Rhythmic and McTwists with the maximum amount of power, control and stability. The Rage gives an incomparable feeling of power through the brake handles. It reacts very precisely to brake inputs and recovers easily from stalls and spins. This improves the safety and easiness of heli-connections, giving an overall feeling of efficiency.
