Theo’s Trick of the Week #2: MISTY FLIP and TWISTY TWIST
A MISTY FLIP is a 360-degree spin followed by a shoot. The higher the spin is, the better the Misty is. Misty Flip is one of the coolest tricks and also one of the first one you learn on your acro journey. It's not particularly difficult and it can be connected into many other tricks.
The TWISTY TWIST is one of the most technical twisted tricks. Basically, it's a Misty Flip that you start twisted, while the glider is rotating it untwists and twists you to the other side. So, you have to pull twisted and control the shoot twisted. It's a technical trick worth quite its share of points in competition. It's a trick I use a lot in my comp runs to switch directions.

Ein MISTY FLIP ist ein 360-Grad-Spin gefolgt von einem Vorschießen. Je höher der Spin ist, desto besser ist der Misty. Der Misty Flip ist einer der coolsten Tricks und wohl auch einer der ersten, die du auf deiner Acro-Reise lernst. Er ist nicht besonders schwierig und kann mit vielen anderen Manövern verbunden werden.
Der TWISTY TWIST ist einer der technisch anspruchsvollsten Twisted Tricks. Im Grunde ist es ein Misty Flip, bei dem du ge-twisted startest. Während sich der Schirm dreht, dreht er sich der Twist auf und zur anderen Seite gleich wieder ein. Du musst ihn also ge-twisted negativ abreißen und das Vorschießen ebenfalls wieder ge-twisted kontrollieren. Es ist ein technischer, anspruchsvoller Trick, für den es bei den Wettbewerben viele Punkte gibt. Ich verwende den Twisty Twist oft bei meinen Runs im Wettkampf, um die Richtung zu wechseln.
