Sensors - Uncollapsible Paraglider Part 2 - BANDARRA
In this video I go through the thought process for creating the sensors for my uncollapsible paraglider project.
I attached strain gauges on the maillons. This means that as the lines pull the maillons they get stressed and as this happens they get stretched slightly.
The strain gauges will stretch with the maillon and this causes the resistance of the strain gauge to change slightly.
In my next video I'll try to build a system that can read this change in resistance to calculate the tension on the maillons.
