In November the High Fly Nepal team planned to fly tandem over Mount Machapuchare (6993 m).
Three attempts at this feat meant the team reached altitudes up to 6423 meters and recorded the incredible images featured in this trailer.

We spent the day with our Red Bull X-Alps athlete Markus Anders (Team GER2). Markus is originally from Stuttgart but moved to the Chiemgau in January to work for skywalk and train for the Red Bull X-Alps 2019.
We hiked up to the Kampendwand, which is one of this years turnpoints in the event, and had the chance to ask a few questions.

Stuart Holmes flying Gin Glider's Yak off Ama Dablam, Novemeber 2009.
Here's a short movie of Stuart's climb on Ama Dablam in Nepal and of his flight from the summit using the new GIN GLIDERS YAK 16.5
An ascent of the iconic Nepalese mountain Ama Dablam by Stuart Holmes (ably supported by the very capable Tim Mosedale (www.timmosedale.co.uk)) followed by the first ever descent by Speed Glider. The Yak 16.5 made by Gin Gliders weighs only 2.3kg, that's less than 3 kg total weight including harness. This type of wing made take off relatively easy in difficult gusty conditions giving a descent of just 10 minutes, thereby saving a day and a half of down-climbing.
The cross country paragliding community is a tribe of people who live by their own rules, drawn together by a love of freedom and the discovery of wide open spaces.
