Ten years ago, six experienced pilots, Dominique Cizeau Pierre Bayon (France), Claudio Mena, Lluís Pol and Raúl Rodríguez (Spain), together with Olivier Nef (Switzerland) set up Niviuk. They gathered more than 50 years of experience and a common view: conceive new and different gliders in order to focus them on the maximum satisfaction of pilots.

Find a suitable name was the first mission; an adequate name to communicate the power and the ideas of the founders, a name that meant the beginning of a new way to understand this sport. This is why Niviuk was born. As a result of years of commitment and efforts as well as of a lot of flying hours and hopes.

Today, 10 years later, the dream has become true thanks to the eagerness and the dedication of all people who are part of the big Niviuk family. Thank you!

Under the slogan " A glider that evolves...from initiation to perfection", the Nk1 landed in 2005 with a double goal: satisfying both the requirements of a young initiating pilot as well as those of more experienced leisure pilots looking for a perfect flight. The Skate is easy to use. Extremely easy to inflate, the action on the brakes is soft and progressive. An adequate repartition of the brake lines makes roll inexistent.

When we knew Aaron a while ago, he was proudly mastering his Artik 3. Today and a half year later, we met Aaron again to fly in his company and his new Artik 4 on the coastline and inland around Santa Barbara. #Artik4pilot
